Great conversations at TheLeadersMeet - Marketing Edition last week with fellow marketing experts on where modern marketing is heading.

As panelists, we discussed GTM motions, agentic tools, content frameworks, and AI-generated content. I was most struck by how organizations are adapting to these changes in their marketing sub-functions.

The best part? Learning from diverse perspectives and connecting with peers facing similar challenges.

It was a pleasure joining fellow leaders at TheLeadersMeet – Marketing Edition for a special panel discussion on “The Modern Marketing Mix – Strategy, Technology & Implementation.” A heartfelt thanks to TheLeadersMeet, and my fellow panelists for such an engaging, insightful discussion on what’s truly shaping modern marketing.

Earlier, at the same event, I had the honour of sharing my views on “Customer Experience & Customer-Centric Strategies.

This event was nothing but insightful, resourceful, and motivational!

"TheLeadersMeet – Pune”, thoughtfully curated, turned out to be something special. As early arrivals, we got talking, and it quickly felt like a billionaire’s table: people who’ve built, lost, rebuilt, learned, and grown. Honest conversations, laughter, empathy, new friendships in Pune, and even reconnecting with an old colleague.

We spoke about everything, from AI (of course 😉) to post-COVID sales and marketing challenges. And yes, I had a full fan moment meeting the ED & screenplay writer of Saiyaara.

I truly enjoyed being part of this panel discussion! Got to learn so much about how marketing works across different industries. Meeting professionals from our clan and the conversations we had before the panel were truly the icing on the cake!

Still buzzing from TheLeadersMeet: Marketing Edition last week. A power packed day on how strategy, technology and execution come together in the real world.

The core message was clear: Winning brands are building AI-first, data driven, omnichannel engines, not one off campaigns; using AI to transform marketing and sales, re imagining communication and brand voice in an always on world, and stitching MarTech stacks so creativity and storytelling can really scale.

At the recent TheLeadersMeet - Marketing Edition, I moderated a discussion on how startups scale their narratives. We moved past the polished PR versions and dug into the operational reality of building a community. Here is the framework that emerged from my conversation with Sudakshina Sinha Banerjee and Gagandeep Gujral:

📌 Real stories are rarely clean. They are often accidental and messy. Embracing that imperfection makes a brand more relatable, not less.

📌The hardest audience to sell is your own team. If the person writing code doesn't understand the soul of the brand, the customer never will.

📌You have to know when to step back. There comes a moment when a founder takes up too much space. Success is operationally stepping back so the community can become the hero.
